EU Referendum: Impact on UK agriculture policy - House of Commons Library Briefing Paper

However, others are starting to set out what a new approach to UK agriculture, outside the EU, might look like.

Lib Dems condemn Council's yellow line blunder

Former Lib Dem Councillor Simon Huggill has condemned the Council for wasting money by painting double yellow lines in Sough Road, Darwen only to have the ripped up weeks later when the road was resurfaced. Simon explained that painting these lines costs money and has condemned Capita, who look after the highways on behalf of the Council for lack of forward planning.

Lib Dem Councillor for Sudell Ward, Roy Davies is continuing his campaign to keep Sudell Ward clean. He jsut doesnt talk about it but rolls his sleaves up and does the work himself. He has recently cleaned up the back of Anyon Street.

Darwen Market Car Park Bridge to be repaired

The bridge linking the market car park to Railway Rd has been out of action for some time. We have just been informed by the Council that it should be finished by 3 June. This will include adding an anti-skid coating but that depends on dry weather.
