The disappearing Crossing

The picture shows the pedestrian crossing on Winterton Rd, near to the nursery and St James Primary School. It has almost disappeared. Lib Dem Councillor, Roy Davies has been campaigning to get it repaired.

At last the council seem to be acting. Cllr Davies received this message from the council.

"Further to your email below Winterton Road and Olive Lane crossings have been ordered. The work will be in two parts, the first being the repairing of the crossing then a week later this will be followed by the crossing lining installation.

We are just awaiting dates from both contractors, as road closures are required to undertake the work."
