Sandon Street, Darwen to be repaired

Sandon Street to be repaired at last.

Newly elected Sudell Councillor Roy Davies has been campaigning for a long time to have Sandon Street repaired properly. The Council resurfaced it but this then caused problems with water "pooling" in places. Finally the Council have agreed to this and work should start from 23 May. Cllr Davies said,"I am pleased to say that from the 23rd of May you will see work taking place that I am assured will resolve this problem, I am not convinced that what they suggest will work, but at the same time they cannot make it any worse?
Be assured if the work that is being carried out does not work I will again start to complain on your behalf for more work to be done to resolve the above problem."
