Emergency Pothole repairs announced

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council Borough Council has announced extra money to fund emergency repairs to potholes around the |Borough.
Cllr. David Foster. Leader of the Liberal Democrat Group and Deputy Leader of the Council said, " We are determined to make good the damage to the roads which resulted from the winter's bad weather. There are potholes all over the Borough and we need to take quick steps to rectify them. We are now putting in extra money to allow gangs to work at weekend to repair the damage, this will allow the work to be done on the major roads with minimum disruption."
