Changes to bus routes from September
Transdev have announced changes to bus routes from 1 September.
There are a few routes which will change in Blackburn Town Centre:
- 1 (From Darwen): now stopping at Debenhams
- 2 (From Darwen): now stopping at Debenhams
- 4 (Mill Hill and Leyburn Road): also stops at Exchange Street (next to Town Hall) and the Barbara Castle Way Health Centre
- 2 (Chorley - previously the 124): also stops at Exchange Street (next to Town Hall) and the Barbara Castle Way Health Centre
This will aid passenger interchange and fits in with future changes in Blackburn Town Centre to accommodate the new bus station and Cathedral Quarter projects.
They have also changed their child fare policy which will new extended from under 16s to under 19s.
