Queen's Park by-election result

The result of the by-election was announced last night. Labour won the seat with the Liberal democrats second and Conservative trailing behind in 3rd place.

Commenting on the result Lib Dem Leader Cllr David Foster said, "Naturally we are disappointed to lose this seat, but we are determined that we will fight harder next time and take back the seat for the Lib Dems."
