Here are the 3 Lib Dem Candidates for the Marsh House Ward on the new Darwen Town Council. Polling day is Thursday 4 June. Graham Coleman - He worked at Crown Paints for many years before being made redundant, he now works at a Children's Centre. He and his wife are active in their local residents association.
Duncan Evans - Duncan has spent much of his life in Darwen after serving in the RAF. He worked for the Probation Service and now works with disaffected young people. Ian Marsden - He is a local businessman and is co-owner of the Darwen Appliance Centre on Duckworth St. He is a keen sportsman with a special interest in marshal arts. Blackburn with Darwen, Marsh House Councillors Chris Thayne and Simon Huggill said, " We are pleased that Graham, Duncan and Ian have agreed to join the Lib Dem team in Marsh House, they will all make excellent Town Councillors."
