Axe the Council Tax

Local Liberal Democrat Councillors have pledged to campaign against the unfair Labour Council Tax.

Councillor David Foster said:

"We want it abolishing because it is unfair. It is not directly related to your ability to pay. We want to see the introduction of Local Income Tax, a much fairer system and cheaper to collect. Over the next few months we will be explaining more about our fairer alternative."
